Summit is a mischievous, fluffy little man. He loves the company of other cats and knows how to adapt to their individual characters. He’s so respectful to our 11 yr old ruler of the realm! He has appointed himself as the official guide cat to our blind boy. The 2 middle cats are for snuggling into and napping with. He’s come a long way since he and his family were taken into rescue when he was 4 months old. He now enjoys belly rubs, head and cheek smooches and sleeping with his family. He’s very food motivated and not a fussy eater. He uses both covered and open litter boxes with no accidents outside of the box. He likes to spend his mornings bird watching and wrestling. He will play with anything and will beat any throw rug into submission. He loves to have conversations and they’re usually about food.

Summit needs a family that has the patience and tolerance to give him the space he will need to adjust to a new home. He may hiss if you pick him up but that’s it. He is a sweet tempered little man and will not swat or use his claws. But he will let you know he’s scared and uncertain. And that’s okay. Eventually (sooner than you think) he will be accepting of affection and stretching out his fluffiness to encourage a belly rub. He needs to be encouraged not forced. While he loves pets and smooches he doesn’t actively seek them. But he is so ready to take that next step and we really don’t want it to be with us. We want his own family to be given the gift of total acceptance and love.
